April 14th, Weekly Communication
I am writing to you in regards to our request to check in with families and students once each week during this time of isolation.
As learning has now moved to a remote delivery model, online, staff have been asked to make contact with your children and/or families once a week. This request follows the direction of the Ministry of Education and the New Westminster School District.
We are asking for your help with this task. This could be as simple as responding to an email from your Learning Consultant, you and/or your child participating in Google Meet or Microsoft Team meeting, or initiating an email, phone call or online meeting with your Learning Consultant.
This process will allow staff to keep track of communication with families and students, and ensure that all families are supported during this unprecedented time.
Our goal is to maintain the continuity of learning for all students, albeit using a format and process that adapts to the pandemic response.
